The establishment of
Triskelion Alumni Organization (TAO),
Riyadh Council, started in early 1997 by
Brothers Roland Santillan (San Sebastian
Coll.), Jess Cablao (PMI), Romy “Meong” Nazario (Union High School of
Manila-PCU), Alan Lumacad (PPCHA), Ibrahim Managantal (MLQU), Zaldivar
Maulana (N.U), Carmelo Modillas (WMSU Zamboanga) Naser Ibrahim (MLQU),
Sulaiman Taher (UM), Alvin abdul (Univ. of Visayas, Cebu) Amen Panolong
(U.M), Monsour Pacasum (MLQU) and Oscar Legaria ( MSU/Marawi ).
Unfortunately, after the September 23
meeting no succeeding gatherings occurred. An enthusiastic group led by
Brothers Willy Siose, Vic Inoferio, Benjie
Ortiz and Rey Quilacio took the challenge
to institute a stronger Tau Gamma Phi
Alumni Organization in Riyadh. They started twice a month brotherhood
bonding at the office of Brod. Romy Nazario
at Malaz area in
A regular weekly meeting was arranged at the
residence of Brod. Benjie Ortiz
at Nassim Area. The main objective is to plan an activity on how to get
the attention of all TGP members in
On 04 October 2001, upon the creation of its
By-Laws the Triskelion Alumni Organization-Riyadh Council (TAORC) was
registered and recognized by the Philippine Embassy in
On 28 November 2002, the second set of officers was elected and inducted into office. President Brod Willy Siose headed the new Council Officers. As a dedicated Triskelion, he devoted his efforts in cultivating the full cooperation of his fellow officers and members in maintaining unity.
By virtue of his effective leadership, Brod Willy Siose was unanimously elected for a second and third term that preserved the theme of his term: Brotherhood, Unity & Community Service. Various activities and multiple fund raising events were organized to support diverse projects that included the following:
1. Distribution of basic necessities to run-away domestic helpers and laborers;
2. Provision of tickets to stranded OFW’s;
3. Participation in undertakings initiated by the Philippine Embassy;
4. Donation of 10 boxes of relief goods to Leyte Disaster;
5. Support to the family of a Triskelion, Brod Jess Cablao, who died in a car accident;
6. Support to
Brod Danny Reanoga,
whose wife had a brain operation in
7. Cash donation to Brod Cris Cogama who got terminated from his job;
8. Promulgation and implementation of Sport festivals and other social activities for TAORC members and family;
9. Provision of cell phone loads to a jailed Brod, Rodelio Lanuza;
10. Creation of a cooperative-style funding, instituted to help and assist Triskelions who require financial assistance;
Although the Triskelion Alumni
Organization-Riyadh Council did not flaunt its accomplishments and
humanitarian endeavors, the Filipino community acknowledged its
achievements and valuable assistance to OFW’s. As such, TAORC became one
of the renowned community groups in

Accordingly on 12 May
2004, with the cooperation and assistance of TAORC Officers, particularly
Brods Willy Siose,
Benjie Ortiz, Emer Lingad (N.U)
and Alberto Bauzon (FEU)
met Brod Dale Aguirre (Letran Coll)
and Brod Al Biala (N.U)
from The Kingdom of Bahrain served as a
potent catalyst towards the formation of the Triskelion
International-Kingdom of Bahrain (TIKOB) council. With the help of TIKOB
the councils of

Moved from the discovery of a problem and seeking viable solutions, and initiating purposeful action for personal familiar, vocational and community betterment prompted the action-group of Rodolfo Sta. Maria Confesor, Roy Alolor Ordinario, Talek Jamias Pablo, Vedasto Sario Venida, Restituto Alfonso and Romeo Fortes to form the "Order of the U.P. Triskelion". Initially however, this small group did not much influenced the time and decisions within the University so that for a second time it was renamed "Order of the Grand Triskelion" finding a common bond of interest and principles, the so called groups finally had identified the trend of the then fashionable among the studentry. Greek letter organization which resulted to the renaming of the group to TAU GAMMA PHI fraternity on the historical October 4 1968 at the University of the Philippines in Diliman Quezon City. Convicted of the success of a unified endeavor the founding fathers who proved to real pillars that were later manifested in the succeeding recognition of the fraternity.
